TWO MONTHS BABY PARADED IN OGUN STATE FOR ROBBERY

In a bizarre but true story, a two-month -old girl was arrested and paraded in lieu of her father who was suspected to be a dare-devil robber in Ogun State, Nigeria.

The mother was taken into custody along the toddler identified as Oyinkansola.

Policemen on storming the residence of the alleged armed robber, Ismail Adeosun, at Ago-Ika in Abeokuta North local government area couldn't find the suspect so they arrested his wife, Daughter, Brother and a Sister.

Many disagree at the manner of arrest saying the baby didn't commit any offense.

Justifying the action, the police was quoted to have said the toddler’s father, Ismail, 26, who was at large, was identified as the ring leader of an armed robbery team.

The mother,Fausat, 19 and Oyinkasola’s uncle and aunt, Tobi Adeosun, 15, and Iyabode Adeosun respectively, were also alleged to have been armorers. An allegation they all denied.

Fausat was quoted to have said she noticed her husband came home with a gun prior to her arrest but she never knew he was into armed robbery as he runs a films rentage business. She said she asked him where he got the gun from but he threatened her life so she had to keep mum.

Ismaila who is at large is said to have lead many robberies which has cost so many lives.

The police is yet to charge them to the court for their alleged crimes.

Do you think the toddler should be arraigned for Ismaila's crimes?
