An unexplained argument had ensued between the actress, who was one of AMAA presenters, and the female journalist over passage on the aircraft aisle. And this led to exchange of words. The unnamed female journalist was further riled when she heard Chioma making some comments about her in Igbo language to two of her friends.

GIRL FEARING DEPORTATION TO NIGERIA ATTEMPTS SUICIDE

19 year-old May Brown almost took her own life fearing deportation from the united Kingdom. This came after UK Border Agency officials believe her marriage to a white man  was not real and so they want her deported.


May, a student of public affairs at Weymouth College moved to the UK three years ago there she met her husband Michael Brown a year ago and they got married in December 2012.

She applied for asylum in the UK but she it was turned down.

A spokes man says the UK Border Agency officials believe their marriage was a ‘sham’ with no ‘emotional attachment’.”so while she was due to be deported  her husband and mother in-law insist that their marriage is real.

NELSON MANDELA'S DETERIORATING HEALTH

The Southern Government claims Anti-Apartheid Hero - Nelson Mandela spent part of Monday with his family at his hospital bedside adding that there was no significant change in his condition.

The 94-year-old former president has been in hospital since late Wednesday for treatment of recurrent bout of pneumonia.

In a report on Saturday, the presidency said doctors had drained excess fluid that had built up on the lining of his lungs because of infection.
This procedure which can be described as the tapping of a pleural effusion was said to have helped him breathe without difficulty, it said.

This is Nelson Mandela's third hospitalisation in four months. It remains unclear how long he may stay.

We was admitted for 18 days for treatment for the lung infection and gallstones surgery in December last Year.

TWO MONTHS BABY PARADED IN OGUN STATE FOR ROBBERY

In a bizarre but true story, a two-month -old girl was arrested and paraded in lieu of her father who was suspected to be a dare-devil robber in Ogun State, Nigeria.

The mother was taken into custody along the toddler identified as Oyinkansola.

Policemen on storming the residence of the alleged armed robber, Ismail Adeosun, at Ago-Ika in Abeokuta North local government area couldn't find the suspect so they arrested his wife, Daughter, Brother and a Sister.

Many disagree at the manner of arrest saying the baby didn't commit any offense.

Justifying the action, the police was quoted to have said the toddler’s father, Ismail, 26, who was at large, was identified as the ring leader of an armed robbery team.
